Why do I need to enter in bank details? Is my information secure?

Understanding why you need to enter correct banking information and what Jobble does to keep your information safe

All Jobble jobs pay exclusively through direct deposit. There are three different direct deposit payment methods (debit card, bank account or prepaid debit card). Any of the three can be attached to your Jobble account for payment, but only one form of payment can be linked at a time. Jobble does not pay in cash or mail checks.

You must have an active payment method attached to your account in order to receive payment for a job. We recommend that you attach your payment before you work a job so you do not experience payment delay after you work a shift.

You are also responsible for ensuring an accurate payment account is attached to your profile at all times.

Security

For security purposes we use Stripe Processing, which is the top mobile payment processing service. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of security certification available.

Accepted Forms for Direct Deposit

  • Debit Card - We recommend linking your non-prepaid U.S. Visa or Mastercard debit card to your Jobble account to receive your direct deposits. This form of payment is recommended by the Jobble payment team.

  • Bank Account - To get paid using your bank account you need to enter your bank details (routing and bank account numbers).

  • Prepaid Debit Card - If you don’t have a debit card/bank account, you can use your prepaid debit card. To do so, you’ll need to get hold of the direct deposit account and routing numbers associated with that prepaid card and enter it as a bank account (same steps as the Bank Account method). This method is recommended for anyone who does not feel comfortable using their own bank account or personal debit card.

Can I work without giving you my payment information?

Direct deposit is the only method of payment for jobs through the Jobble platform. We do not pay in cash or mail checks. We recommend you link your payment information before you work a shift so you do not encounter payment delays.
