We’ve made an important update to our Payment Terms to introduce a 5% Safety and Support Fee. This change helps us continue to provide a secure, reliable experience for Jobblers while offering key protections and faster access to earnings.
Here’s what’s new — and a few reminders about how payments work on Jobble.
New: 5% Safety and Support Fee
Starting July 1, 2025, Jobble will deduct a 5% Safety and Support Fee from every payout you receive for completed work. This mandatory fee helps cover:
-
Occupational accident insurance to protect you while on the job
-
Background checks and platform safety features
-
Payment processing, including instant transfer fees
You’ll see this fee clearly itemized in your payment breakdown inside the Jobble app and in your confirmation emails.
We’ll give you at least 14 days’ notice before making any changes to the fee in the future.
Payout Process and Timing
This part hasn’t changed, but here’s a quick refresher on how Jobble payments work:
-
Hiring companies are responsible for reviewing and approving your hours. They have up to 7 business days to do this after your last shift.
-
Once your hours are approved, Jobble processes your payout.
-
Most payouts are deposited within 2–7 business days after approval, depending on your bank.
That means you’ll usually receive your payment within 4–10 business days from your last shift.
Instant Payouts (If Eligible)
If your linked bank account is eligible (based on criteria from our payment processor, Stripe), you may receive your payment instantly after approval.
Instant payouts are not guaranteed for all users.
Keeping Your Payment Info Updated
To avoid delays, make sure your payment method in the app is:
-
Active
-
Correct
-
Up to date
Jobble isn’t responsible for failed or delayed payments caused by inaccurate bank details.
Payment Holds or Adjustments
In some situations, we may delay, adjust, or reverse a payout. This can happen if:
-
There’s a dispute about your shift (e.g., hours, no-shows, or policy violations)
-
We detect potential fraud or suspicious activity
-
We need to meet financial institution or legal compliance requirements
If additional documentation is needed, we’ll let you know.
Taxes
As a Jobbler, you’re classified as an independent contractor. That means:
-
Jobble does not withhold taxes from your payments
-
You’re responsible for reporting and paying any required taxes
-
If required, we’ll provide a Form 1099 electronically
We recommend speaking with a tax professional if you have questions about your tax responsibilities.
