Understanding Jobble Pro Direct Pricing and Bidding
Learn how Jobble Pro Direct pricing works, how bids and budgets interact, and why lead prices change based on competition and demand. This guide shows how to stay competitive while keeping total spend predictable.
How pricing works
When you create a lead request in Jobble Pro Direct, you control two things:
- Weekly Budget: The maximum you will spend from Monday through Sunday. Jobble will never exceed this amount.
- Max Lead Price: Your bid, the most you are willing to pay for a single lead.
Jobble sources home-service leads in real time. Each new lead is matched to all eligible buyers and awarded to the highest active bid.
If your Max Lead Price is high enough to win, and you still have available budget, the lead is delivered to you immediately.
If no other buyer is competing for that lead, you receive it at retail cost. That means your actual lead price can vary week to week. Not only because of bidding activity, but also because the cost of acquiring each lead changes in the open market.
Your Weekly Budget, however, is always a hard limit. You will never be charged above the amount you’ve set.
Why lead prices vary
Lead costs shift constantly because the real-world cost of reaching customers changes throughout the day and across regions.
Factors that influence price include:
- Location: Some areas are more competitive or more expensive to advertise in.
- Timing and seasonality: Certain services peak at different times of year. For example, roofing and landscaping in warmer months, or interior projects in winter.
- Competition: When more businesses are actively bidding on similar leads, prices rise. When fewer are, they fall.
- Consumer demand: The number of homeowners submitting quote requests changes by day and hour, affecting available supply.
Because these factors are always moving, the same Weekly Budget may buy more or fewer leads from one week to the next.
How your bid affects results
Your Max Lead Price determines how competitive you are in each auction.
- Higher bid: Increases your chances of winning and typically delivers more consistent lead volume.
- Lower bid: Can reduce cost per lead but may lose to higher bidders in competitive areas or seasons.
- Smart guidance: In the app, you’ll see a suggested bid range based on recent winning prices in your area. Setting your Max Lead Price inside that range helps you stay competitive without overspending.
When there’s no competition for a lead, you’ll get it at the retail cost, even if it’s lower than your Max Lead Price. This helps your budget go further and increases your total lead count.
Why your weekly results vary
Because both lead costs and bid competition fluctuate in real time.
- Some weeks, your budget may stretch further and deliver more leads.
- Other weeks, higher competition or fewer homeowner requests may reduce your total lead count.
Regardless, your Weekly Budget remains fixed. Jobble automatically optimizes your spend within the week and never exceeds your limit.
What you’ll see in the app
- Estimated weekly leads: Based on recent averages in your area and your current Max Lead Price. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
- Weekly budget: Your total spend will never exceed your set budget.
- Live controls: You can adjust your Weekly Budget, Max Lead Price, or service radius at any time to influence results.
Example
You set a Weekly Budget of $600 and a Max Lead Price of $60.
- A new lead comes in at a retail cost of $40.
- Other buyers are bidding $50 and $65.
- Because your bid is $60, you win only if the $65 bidder is out of budget or ineligible.
- If no one else bids, you still receive the lead at retail cost.
This ensures that you always pay a fair market rate, never more than your bid, and never more than your total Weekly Budget.
Tips to improve results
- Raise your Max Lead Price to win more leads during competitive periods.
- Expand your service radius to increase available homeowner requests.
- Raise your Weekly Budget if your bid is competitive and you want higher volume.
- Respond quickly. Fast replies improve your odds of converting a lead into a booked job.
A few important notes
- Jobble will never exceed your Weekly Budget.
- Lead volume is not guaranteed and depends on real-time market activity.
- Your price per lead can vary based on both bidding competition and underlying retail cost.
- Your Max Lead Price and service radius are the two biggest levers you control.
Key takeaway
Jobble Pro Direct pricing combines real-time bidding with dynamic lead costs.
You stay in control by setting your Weekly Budget and Max Lead Price. Jobble adapts to live market conditions to deliver as many qualified leads as possible within those limits, maximizing your exposure while ensuring you never spend more than you planned.
