A guide to what you can do to update your schedule.
We know that things change, including your ability to work. We have tools built into our app that allow you to update the hiring manager on any job you are hired for.
It is best practice to let us know as soon as possible if you have a change to your schedule. We understand that sometimes things pop up last minute that can impact your ability to work. Below we will outline our policies and procedures to update your availability.
Quitting as a Jobbler
Unable to work a job you have already accepted?
Early quit:
- Quitting more than 72 hours before your first shift? No penalties, you just need to let us know.
Late quit: (less than 72 hours):
- This is allowed up to 3 times without a penalty. After that, your account will be suspended.
Three strikes, 1 week suspension. Five strikes, permanent suspension
- After 3 strikes, your account will be suspended for 1 week.
- After 5 strikes, your account will be suspended permanently.
How to Quit:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select UPDATE AVAILABILITY
Select QUIT JOB
Confirm that you want to quit by selecting Quit Job again
Calling Out as a Jobbler
Unable to work a shift you have already accepted?
Early callout (more than 48 hours):
- Calling out more than 48 hours before your first shift? No penalties, you just need to let us know.
Late callout (less than 48 hours):
- This is allowed up to three times a month for last minute changes.
Three strikes, removed
- You are allowed 3 late callouts in a 30 day period.
- On your 4th late callout, you will be removed from the job.
How to call-out:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select UPDATE AVAILABILITY.
Select CAN'T MAKE IT.
Select if you need to call out for one or multiple shifts.
If you selected Just this one, confirm you are declining the shift.
If you selected More shifts, decline the shifts you are no longer able to make.
How to reverse a call out:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select UPDATE AVAILABILITY.
Select I'LL BE THERE.
Confirm your availability for one or multiple shifts like you did when you called out.
Running late as a Jobbler
Not able to make it to a shift on time?
Let us know:
- You are allowed to be late up to three times a month.
- You are considered late if you check in more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time.
Being late for a shift does not guarantee work
It is important to let us know that you plan to be late. To confirm that the job will accept late workers, please reach out to the onsite contact to verify.
How to let us know you will be late:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select UPDATE AVAILABILITY.
Select ARRIVING LATE.
Select your estimated arrival time and click Ok.
How to update arrival time:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select CHANGE ARRIVING LATE TIME.
Update your new arrival time like you did when you initially submitted it.
Leaving early as a Jobbler
Need to leave a shift early?
Let us know:
- You can leave a shift early, but we need to keep a record. Leaving more than 2 hours before it ends is considered leaving early.
How to let us know you need to leave early:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select UPDATE AVAILABILITY.
Select NEED TO LEAVE EARLY.
Select your estimated departure time and click Ok.
How to update departure time:
Navigate to the SHIFTS tab of the My Work section of your Jobble app.
Select CHANGE LEAVING EARLY TIME.
Update your new departure time like you did when you initially submitted it.
