Editing & Pausing a Lead Request
Understand how to edit, pause, or reactivate a lead request and how updates affect lead delivery.
You can update your lead request at any time. This includes adjusting your bid, changing your service area, or deactivating a request to pause delivery when you need a break. Below are answers to the most common questions about managing an active request.
What if I want to deactivate my lead request
Deactivating your request stops new leads from being delivered to you.
Note the time of day your leads respond most often.
- You can deactivate at any time.
- You keep access to all leads you already received.
- Deactivating does not delete your request or affect your account.
- You can turn it back on whenever you are ready.
Most businesses deactivate their request when they are fully booked or need time to catch up on existing work.
How to deactivate your lead request
- Open your lead request in your dashboard.
- Select the option to deactivate.
- Confirm your choice.
Your request will move into a deactivated state immediately.
Can I change my bid after I start a request
Yes. You can update your max bid (and budget) at any time.
- Increasing your bid can help you receive more leads.
- Lowering your bid may reduce your volume or competitiveness.
- Any changes you make apply to future leads.
Your bid does not affect leads you have already received or purchased.
What else can I edit
You can update several parts of your request, such as:
- Service location or radius
- Weekly budget
- Industry or request title
Changes take effect right away and apply to leads delivered from that point forward.
When to consider updating your request
You may want to adjust your request if:
- You want to increase weekly volume.
- You are receiving fewer leads than expected.
- Your service area changes.
- Your budget or capacity shifts.
Updating your request helps ensure you are matched with the right homeowners at the right pace.
