Best Health Practices for Jobblers During COVID-19
To Our Valued Jobbler,
There’s a lot of fear and panic as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads, and we at Jobble want to make sure you feel informed and empowered to continue to work. On Jobble’s end, we are constantly monitoring COVID-19 and its possible impact on our Jobblers and business partners. We’re dedicated to keeping our Jobblers up-to-date with new job postings and cancellations so you can do what’s necessary to keep your schedule full.
We know that the bills don’t stop and we want you to feel well-informed and empowered to continue finding the flexible work you need. On the other hand, if you cannot work a shift or change your mind, we do ask that you communicate with your hiring manager so the appropriate steps can be taken.
Below are some preventative measures you can take to lessen your chance of exposure. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team at community@jobble.com.
Sincerely,
Zack Smith

Practice Healthy Habits
It’s easy to read a Facebook link and think the coronavirus is on your front door, but the best thing you can do is stay informed through verified channels such as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention on the spread of COVID-19.
We highlighted these best preventative measures in an article on our blog:
-
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rubs
-
Maintain a three-foot distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing
-
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
-
Cover your mouth and nose with a disposable tissue if you cough or sneeze
-
Immediately seek medical care if you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing
It’s also important to be honest with yourself -- if you feel sick, stay home. This is both for your safety and the safety of others.
